Matt Englert AMS®, PCAM® - President
Mr. Englert has over 17 years of experience with CASI. He began as an assistant manager when the young company only had 6 properties and shortly thereafter Matt became the property manager for those communities. As CASI's portfolio grew he was promoted to vice president of operations. Matt has been instrumental in obtaining new accounts, developing procedures and policies while maintaining our high standards in professional property management services.
Mr. Englert obtained a B.S. degree from Ball State University in Urban & Regional Land Use Planning and Management. He also has a strong landscape background from managing a landscape division for Neil Engledow (Mid-Western Tree Experts) in the early 80's. Matt also operated his own successful landscape contracting company for over 3 years.
Mr. Englert has been very active in the Community Association Institute. He has held various positions on the Indiana Chapter Board including president. Matt has attended many CAI classes and conferences over the years and has his Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation, which is the highest professional, national designation in the profession.
Jane Scully, ARM®, CMCA® - Vice President of Operations and Marketing
Ms. Scully has been progressively responsible for managing properties throughout Indiana for over 20 years. This work has included multi-family and single family communities involving both existing sites and new development. She has also consulted various national and local clients on the creation and implementation of marketing strategies, sales events, and contract sales to new customers/property owners.
Her career at CASI began in 2003 as a Community Manager. Shortly thereafter she was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and then Operations. Jane has been instrumental in employee development and obtaining new client accounts.
Ms. Scully has been active in the Apartment Association of Indiana and chaired the Trade Show and Membership Retention Committees. She holds the designations of Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®) awarded by the Institute of Real estate Management and Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) awarded by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers. She also is a current Board member of the Indiana chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI).
Rebecca (Becky) A. Cruse CPM®, – Vice President & Senior Community Manager
Ms. Cruse’s management responsibilities have encompassed a diverse portfolio since 1977 in the Midwest market. She has held senior management positions with several national real estate firms. This has included multi-family, office buildings, industrial space, retail centers and self storage encompassing both new and older, distressed properties. Ms. Cruse has been awarded the Property Supervisor of the Year Award by the Lexington, Kentucky Apartment Association.
Ms. Cruse has held an Indiana Real Estate Brokers License since 1987 and continues to update her educational requirements as required.
Most recently she has engaged exclusively in association management comprised of single family and condominium associations. This includes over 17 years of experience with CASI.
Ms. Cruse has been active in the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) since 1992. She holds the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM®) awarded by IREM. She is currently pursuing educational opportunities through the Community Association Institute with the goal of obtaining the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation, the highest professional, national designation in the association management industry.
Robert H. Thompson, CPM®, CMCA® – Vice President & Senior Community Manager
Mr. Thompson’s management responsibilities have encompassed a diverse portfolio since 1973. This has included multifamily, office buildings, industrial space, hotel, condominium and retail centers encompassing both new and older properties. Most recently he has engaged exclusively in association management comprised of single family, condominium and office condominium associations. This includes over 27 years of experience with CASI.
Mr. Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from National College of Business in Business Administration. He also has a developer background in the construction industry after working as a construction superintendent on a 126 unit apartment development in the early 70’s.
Mr. Thompson has been active in the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and served as Chapter 24’s President. He holds the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM®) awarded by IREM. He also has earned the designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) awarded by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers. He is currently actively pursuing educational opportunities through the Community Association Institute with the goal of obtaining the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation, the highest professional, national designation in the profession.
Karla McCullough, Accounting Supervisor
Karla started with CASI in October 1995. Over the years she has performed just about every accounting position necessary to serve our communities financial management needs with a hands on and eager "can do approach". She is now responsible for managing the accounting departments for both offices, supervising 10 accounting employees. Karla had worked as an office associate for five years prior to CASI. Karla has also received Associa® Financial Forum award for Outstanding Financial Employee for 2005.
James Blazek, Production Manager
James has been employed by CASI since April of 1997. He has more than 17 years of experience in the commercial and residential building industry. He is responsible for coordinating our in house maintenance technicians production schedules. One of his many skills is responding to various emergency situations, quickly, efficiently and professionally. James also prepares all maintenance estimates and assists in small insurance claim job completions as well.
Bradley Kent Baker - Maintenance Supervisor
Mr. Baker has been progressively responsible for maintaining properties throughout Indiana for over sixteen years. The first four
years his work included maintenance on medical buildings, both interior and exterior. The last twelve years Mr. Baker has worked with residential and commercial properties.
His career at CASI began in 1995 as a Maintenance Tech. In 1999 Mr. Baker pursued an educational opportunity and became a certified locksmith. In 2000 Mr. Baker was given the Donald D. Wools Award for the employee who exemplifies a wonderful energy and giving spirit along with a great work ethic. He was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor in 2006.
